Money raised thru Rectory, Set, Cook benefits local charities

Thanks to the generosity of 440 donors, Rev. James Paisley was able to raise $31,560.00 in the “Rectory, Set, Cook” competition.

As promised, $15,800.00 of those funds have been returned to St. Therese’s Parish in Shavertown and St. Frances X. Cabrini Parish in Carverton.

$4,500.00 was given to the Back Mountain Food Bank, $3,000.00 to “Fork Over Love”, $3,000.00 to “Dinner for Kids”, $3,000.00 to the parish gift-card fund, $1,300.00 to the Greater Hazleton “Meals on Wheels”, and $1,000.00 to the Wyoming Valley “Meals on Wheels”.
